Recorded remotely to get access to the best contributors in the world
If you have ever held a conference call, or been supplied a headset and mic for remote working, there is a strong possibility you’ve been using Jabra products. Jabra is a Danish-based brand building hardware for offices and homeworkers globally.
The brand is well established in the business world, and they want to make sure they stay top of mind for decision makers at major companies. But how do you do that in such a competitive market?
For Jabra, it’s to make sure they are at the heart of what business leaders were really thinking about. How is AI going to impact their business? And how can they position themselves to make best use of the technology? Jabra’s aim is to be a trusted voice when it comes to business and AI. And it was our job to get them there.
We started by working with Jabra to work out exactly what the purpose of the podcast was: why were industry leaders going to listen? What were we going to offer that they couldn’t get elsewhere? We meticulously worked through these questions, including posing the suggestion of whether this was even the right approach. We looked hard at what else was out there, looking for ways to differentiate ourselves from the competition.
We knew our target audience were short on time, but needed to know what was happening in AI, particularly how it was going to impact business. So we kept things short and focussed on the business implications of the tech. To achieve that, we needed the best people in the field. It was no use getting in commentators and people on the sidelines of AI development. We secured researchers, thought leaders and professors who specialise in AI for business.
The next challenge was to make sure the people we wanted were able to find the podcast. We decided filming the episode would give us the opportunity to reach a wider audience, and better - show off some of Jabra’s products in the process. Jabra organised getting audio equipment and cameras to the contributors and we did the rest. Our partner Podcast Discovery designed digital assets for the video and delivered social media clips which Jabra could use to promote the series across their social media platforms. We also delivered full episodes on YouTube, so they were searchable and accessible on the platform.
This also gave Jabra more assets that they could put out across newsletters and other outlets they had built across their business.
The end result was a well informed engaging listen, that delivered essential information to business leaders in what is, let's face it, a confusing AI era.
“Working with Rethink Audio has been one of the best parts of launching the podcast. From day one, Louise, Ollie, and Joleen have been endlessly helpful, positive, and just genuinely lovely people to work with.
They’ve been flexible on timings (which I’ve tested more than once), super clear with comms, and always accessible when needed. Their guidance has been invaluable, from shaping the concept of the show to helping plan each episode, getting the tech sorted, and sharing best practices along the way.
They take real pride in what they do, and it shows. They were instrumental in getting us off the ground, from the initial consultancy to supporting our launch strategy – artwork, music, website, and scheduling.
Honestly, I can’t recommend them enough. They’re not just great at what they do; they make the whole experience easy and enjoyable.”
