Snow Globe Terms and Conditions: clip submissions

Please read these terms before you send us a video. By submitting a video, you agree to all of the terms below.

Who is running this

This callout and competition is run by Rethink Audio Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 09848564), registered address 2 Bisley Rd, Stroud, Glos, GL5 1HE ("we", "us", "our", "Rethink Audio"). We are producing a podcast and social channels called The Snow Globe.

How to enter

To enter, DM a video that matches our callout on Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok or send it to us as described in our callout post. Entries must be submitted by October 1 2026. One entry per person. Entries received after the closing date will not be counted.

Who can enter

You must be at least 16 years old to enter. Members of Rethink Audio Ltd, and their immediate family, are not eligible to enter. You can enter from anywhere in the world, but please note the prize delivery restrictions in section 6.

What you are agreeing to when you send us a video

When you submit a video, you still own it. You are not selling it to us. You are giving us permission to use it in the ways set out below.

By submitting a video, you give Rethink Audio Ltd the right to:

  • use your video, or parts of it, in The Snow Globe podcast, and in any future broadcast, television or other versions of the show

  • share your video on our social media channels and website

  • edit, cut, remix, add music or graphics to your video, or combine it with other footage

  • make money from your video as part of the show or our channels, for example through advertising, sponsorship or platform payouts

This permission:

  • applies worldwide, so it covers wherever the show or our channels are seen

  • continues for as long as the show, or a clip from it, remains in use, including in any archive of past episodes

  • is non-exclusive, which means you are still free to post, sell or use your video anywhere else, including on your own channels

We do not pay a fee for using your video. Entering the competition described in section 6 is the only reward for taking part. Though you may get a warm glow in your chest as Ed and Tim do their thing.

What you promise when you submit a video

When you send us a video, you confirm that:

  • it is your own original work and you own the rights to it

  • if anyone else appears or speaks in the video, you have their permission for it to be used and shared in the ways described above

  • it does not use copyrighted music, clips or other material that you do not have the rights to

  • it does not contain anything illegal, offensive, defamatory or harmful

We can remove or reject any video, or refuse an entry, if we reasonably believe it breaks these rules.

The competition

Entering the callout automatically enters you into a prize draw. No purchase is necessary to enter.

  • Prize: 

  • Closing date: 12pm EDT October 1

  • How the winner is chosen: after the closing date, we will choose a winner at random from all valid entries

  • How we contact the winner: we will contact the winner via a direct message on the platform they entered from within 30 days of the closing date requesting a valid postal address

  • If we cannot reach the winner within 30 days, we may choose another winner

  • There is no cash alternative to the prize

  • We may substitute the prize for one of similar value if it becomes unavailable

  • Only one prize will be awarded

Your personal data

When you enter, we collect your name, social media handle or username, and contact details so that we can run the competition and consider your video for the show.

We use your information to contact you about your entry, run the competition, and, if your video is selected, to credit and use it as described above.

We keep your information for as long as we need it for these purposes, and then delete it in line with our data retention practices.

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with third parties where necessary to run the competition or produce the show, or where the law requires it.

You have rights over your personal data, including the right to see what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To exercise these rights, contact us at production@rethinkaudio.com

Other important things

We may change these terms, or withdraw the competition, at any time. If we do, we will update this page.

We are not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed or not received for reasons outside our control.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
